In addition, you can try 40 more golf courses in the Black Forest and in the neighbouring Alsatia. From Bergfried’s residences, many routes lead to golfer’s paradise. If you book the residence of your choice for three or seven nights, you have already come much closer to heaven.

We are one of the founding hotels of the “Golfclub Hochschwarzwald” (High Black Forest Golf Club) (www.hochschwarzwald.golf). Therefore, we are able to offer you an appealing reduction on the green fee for the golf course “Himmlische Hölle” (heavenly hell) on one of the most beautiful plateaus of the High Black Forest. You will play among woods, brooks, and traditional old barnyards, while you only have to ascend light slopes. In general, the course is open from April to November. If you want to play on the club’s course, you need to have a handicap of at least 54 and to be a member at a registered golf club or at the “Vereinigung clubfreier Golfspieler” (Association of golfers without a club). If you do not have a handicap, you are still free to use the trial courses. The “Golfurlaub” (golf holiday) magazine of the VUD publishing house together with the “Schwarzwald Tourismus GmbH” (Black Forest Tourism) presents 40 golf courses on both sides of the Upper Rhine to you in German and French.
